- Cosmetology (Hair)

Hours: 1,600
A 1600 hour course that will give you the basics of haircutting, hair styling, hair coloring, permanent waving including highlights, facials, manicures, pedicures, and much more. You will get technical instruction given by demonstration, lecture, classroom participation, or examination from a very diverse and excellent staff.
You will receive plenty of hands on experience from the busy clinic floor where we use Tigi Bed Head styling products. Our graduates come out with the confidence of being salon ready.
- Manicuring (Nails)

Hours: 400
This 400 hour program of technical instruction covers all practices of a manicurist and pedicurist. Your training includes, but is not limited to, sanitation, disinfection, water and oil manicures, pedicures, acrylic, liquid and powder, nail tips, and nail wraps, and nail art. We teach how to do spa pedicures and teach how to properly disinfect the spa pedicures according to state standards. Our graduates are not only state board ready, but also salon ready.
We are among the top in the state of California in numbers of licensed graduates with pass rates consistently over 90%. Many of our students have gone on to become successful salon owners, technicians, manufacturers, and managers. You will get plenty of practice working on clients as we have a very busy clinic floor. - Cosmetician

Cosmetician (Facial, Skin-Care, Esthetician)
Hours: 600
For 600 hours you can get into one of the most exciting and fastest growing careers. You will learn make-up and eyelash application, body waxing, and facials to treat many skin conditions.
We are a Dermalogica partnership school and have been V.I.P. status since 2004. Students have the opportunity to participate in the undergraduate student days at the International Dermal Institute. We also have guest speakers from various skin care and make-up companies that do demonstrations in our classes. Our skin care clinic will help prepare you to be a professional skin care therapist.

This exciting program is nationally accredited by NACCAS. The quality of instruction is second to none. We have a very strong staff with an M.D., D.C., Nationally Certified Instructors, and a wealth of experience. We teach the newest and most practical techniques from Swedish, Acupressure, Lomi Lomi, Chair, Reflexology, Shiatsu, and others while giving a firm foundation of anatomy, physiology, and theory knowledge to provide the best chance at passing the examinations.

- Advanced: Nail Training

If you have your license or are about to graduate but do not feel ready for the salon, then this is the perfect class for you! You will learn the newest techniques in pink and white acrylic application, nail drills, gels, and nail art design. This course is intended to train you in advanced salon applications. Certificates will be awarded up completion.

This one day class will show several techniques in applying eyelash extensions. The class is a combination of theory and practical training that goes over natural to dramatic lengths, touch ups, and maintenance.
By the end of the class, you will have done a complete set of eyelash extensions. An eyelash extension kit is included in the fee of 0. No license is currently required to practice eyelash extensions. - Advanced: Hair Extension

Hair extension has become one of the most cutting edge and in demand services in the hair and fashion industry. Advanced Beauty College and RockStar Hair are proud to offer a hands-on hair extension class. In the 1 day hands-on class you will learn two methods on a live model and methods for cutting and touching-up the extensions. Students Kit are included in the fee.

A class perfect for nail technicians, estheticians, and cosmetologists. This class is a combination of theory and practical in basic massage techniques. You will learn to manipulate the head, face, shoulders, back, arms and legs.
